<strong>International</strong> Insurance Society, Inc., a non-profit corporation which was founded in 1965, now is <strong>the</strong> largest<br />
organization of its kind with a membership of 900 leading insurance executives, academicians and o<strong>the</strong>r<br />
industry professionals representing 90 countries. It facilitates global exchange of ideas, primarily through its<br />
website and annual seminar, which is attended by 500 or more senior insurance executives, representing all<br />
parts of <strong>the</strong> world and all sectors of <strong>the</strong> industry. In conjunction with <strong>the</strong> conference <strong>the</strong> <strong>IIS</strong> bestows <strong>the</strong> Insurance<br />

SEMINARS<br />
The <strong>IIS</strong> provides high-quality seminars in cooperation with leading insurance companies and organizations<br />
worldwide and is <strong>the</strong> pre-eminent international ga<strong>the</strong>ring for <strong>the</strong> insurance community. The <strong>IIS</strong> seminar is<br />

INSURANCE HALL OF FAME<br />
Created in 1957, <strong>the</strong> Insurance Hall of Fame award honors insurance leaders who have made a broad,<br />
encompassing and lasting contribution to <strong>the</strong> insurance industry and who are recognized by <strong>the</strong>ir peers as<br />
successful leaders, innovators and visionaries. Nominees for <strong>the</strong> Insurance Hall of Fame are selected by <strong>the</strong><br />
<strong>IIS</strong> Honors Committee, a body of senior insurance executives and academicians, and voted on by <strong>the</strong> <strong>IIS</strong><br />
membership by secret ballot. The Honors Committee may also present <strong>the</strong> award posthumously to worthy<br />
