'A' Twill Gunny Bags

Bags should be free from moisture subject to toleration
prescribed in the ISI and oil. No joined bags and undersigned
bags permitted. The twine used in hemming and stitching shall
be of high tex i.e. 310 tex. The average breaking load values of
the bags under tex for both warp and weft shall be as follows.
Warp way : 204 kg weft way: 180 kg.
The average breaking load of beam of the bags shall be 67 kgs.
Each bale shall have ISI mark and name of the manufacturing
mill.
7. BRANDING AND PACKAGING:
The bags are to be supplied UNBRANDED and should be FLAT
PACKED in wrapper gunny sheet, well pressed in 5 iron stripes
bound bale containing 400 Nos. duly marked and despatched in
covered vehicle despatch shall be made strictly on "Freightpaid"
basis only. The bales shall be so made that the contents
are protected from stains, oil, water or any other damage in
handling. Bags should not stick with one another and should
easily be separable without wrinkles. The packing must conform
strictly to ISI specification.
8.MARKING:
The following information shall be stenciled on the
bales with blue indelible ink with letters and figures not
less than 5 cms and not more than 7.5 cms in height except
for bale nos. which shall be not less than 7.5 cms in height.
a) Name of the manufacturing mills
b) Description of goods such as A twill bag 112 cm X 67.5 cm
c) Contract weight in kilo grams
d) Buyers name, initials or identifying mark.
e) Bale number.
f) ISI markings
9.SOURCE OF SUPPLY:
Supply shall be effected only from manufacturers of A
Twills. The manufacturer shall be jointly responsible with their
agent/trader/dealer for quality and timely supply of gunnies to
the Pondicherry Co-op. Sugar Mills Ltd.
10.TRANSIT INSURANCE:
The gunnies despatched should be covered under the transit
insurance upto the delivery of the A Twills gunnies at the
godown of the Pondicherry Co-op. Sugar Mills. The Pondicherry
Co-op. Sugar Mills will not be responsible for any loss or
damages during transit. It is the sole responsibilities of the
supplier to prefer claims with the Insurance Company for cost of
