training, publication, technical or o<strong>the</strong>r assistance, or defense information used<br />

for <strong>the</strong> purpose <strong>of</strong> furnishing nonmilitary assistance under <strong>the</strong> Foreign<br />

Assistance Act (FAA) <strong>of</strong> 1961, as amended, or for making military sales under<br />

<strong>the</strong> US Arms Export Control Act <strong>of</strong> 1976, as amended. (AFDD 3-22)<br />

space assets<br />

A generic term which may refer <strong>to</strong> any <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> following individually or in<br />

combination: space systems, individual parts <strong>of</strong> a space system, space<br />

personnel, or supporting infrastructure. (AFDD 3-14)<br />

1. The ability <strong>of</strong> a space asset <strong>to</strong> accomplish a mission. 2. The ability <strong>of</strong> a<br />
