In view of the 2012 nutritioo Month Celebralion; rhe Health and Nutrition Section. this
Division. in partnership with the Local Govemment of Quezon City, invites all schools to
observe Nutrition Month in their respective schools. All pubiic elementary and secondary
schools are dir€ct€d to conduct Nutritio! Month Activities srich as On-the-Spot Poster Making
Contest, Jinglc.and Rap Singing Contest. Sabayang Bigkas, Al Contest. Malunggay Cooking
Contbst, Culminating Prcgrams and Nutri-Parade.
At the Division Level. a Nutri-fair will be held at Quezon City Science Interactive, Canter
Grounds on Jr.rly 31. 2012
During the Nutri-fair, a nutri-parade wjll be held ar 8.00 am Each C6ngressional District shall
(rhoose their regesentatives for the parads. This will involve l0 pupils ofElementary Schools
fr om each Congressional District ivith their costumes. Prizes will be awarded for the groqp who
ha s the best aostume, judged according to the following criteria.

. Qualified Participanrs are plrpils lronr grades V and Vl for the elementary level and
students from 3'd year and 4't year for the secondaxy level.
. Ali Congressional Districts shall conduct an On-the-Spot Poster Making at the
. District Level.
. The Winner at the Congressional District Level shall be the representative at the
Division Level on July 3l. 20l2 at 9:00 to 1l:30 a.m.
. Names ofentries must be endorsed at the Health and Nutrition Section on or beforc
July 30, 2012. Offlcial entry must indicate the complete name of the contestant,
school. grade/ year ievel and section and name ofthe trainer or coach
. Panicipants are required to bring necessary art materials for the contest which are 7.1
size illustration board, Craypas and Pencils. These will be the only medium allowed
for drawing. No pentel pens allowed
. Posters must be in consonance with the nutition month theme.

There shall be one (1) winner and two (2)placers and 2 consolation prizes

shall be given certificates ofpanicipation each.
. All posters will become the property ofthe Health and Nutrition Seclion.
. Decision ofthe Board ofJudges is coilsidered final and irrevocable-

" The conresr is open to all Grades V and VI pupils.
. Recipes must make use ofmalunggay
. Each participating school must aompete o the Congressional District level \Vinner
per Congressional District wili automatically enter the Division level.
. OFrcial entries must indicate the compiete name ofthe contestants, the school, grade
le!el and section and name ofthe trainer or coach.
. The representatives shall compete io the Cooking contest Division Level on July 31, '
2012 at (9100 to ll:30 a.m.).
. The participants shall be composed ofnot more than I members
. Participiuts must bring their owrr ingredienti, utensils and Blectric stoves for
cooking, extension wires, table! and chairs
. Each group shall be given trvo and a half hours for the p.eparafion, cooking and
presentation.
. Participants are not allowed to bring in prepated ing.redients.
. Food prepared, cooked and presented shall be coded for judging. Cdteria will b€ as

Jingle and Rap Singing Contest:
. The contest is open to all Grades V and \{l pupils
. All Congressional Districts shall conduct a Jingle and Rap Singiry Contest at the
District Level.
Names of entdes must be endorsed to the Health and.Nutritioo Section on or before
July 30, 2012. Official entry must indicate the complete name of the contestant,
school, grade level and section and the name oltrainer or coach.
The repr€sentatives shall compete in the Jingle and Rap Singing Contest at the
Division Level on July 31,2012 aj l:00 - 4:00 p.m.
The participants shall be composed ofnot more that eighl (8) members.
Participants must bring thcir own accompanimellt or prcps for the prespntation.
All presentation shall be coded by judging. Criteria forjudging shall be as follows:
