• Decreased VO 2 consumption<br />

• Increasing the strength of the ligamentous <strong>and</strong> muscular<br />

support of the arch<br />

• Increased proprioception<br />

• Decreased risk of lower extremity injury, including:<br />

– Lateral Ankle Sprains<br />

– Plantar Fasciitis<br />

– Medial Tibial Stress Syndrome<br />

– Etc.<br />
