Some people imagine that Switzerland is as cold as Alaska, but 

this is far from the truth. On the plains, temperatures can rise to 

30ºC (86ºF) in the summer, and even in the mountains the sun is 

hot. In the winter, temperatures rarely drop below minus 5ºC (41ºF) 

throughout the entire country, save the mountaintops. 

The mountainous character of Switzerland is responsible for spectacular 

differences in weather between the different regions. It is very 

common to move from a cold, cloudy and rainy landscape to one 

with a beautiful clear blue sky and hot sun within just a few minutes. 

The warmest parts of the country are Montreux (where palm trees 

line the lake-side), Ticino and Valais. In Ticino, the Italian-speaking 

canton South of the Alps, there are over 298 sunny days a year 

and daily mean temperature in July of over 26 ºC (79 ºF). In Valais, 

kiwis, peaches, figs and tomatoes are grown in orchards and tiny 

scorpions can be found.

About 75 employees are currently working for the company. Our field of activity is 

the production and trade of specialized equipment and accessories for foot care, 

cosmetics, massage and spa. Our range of products contains approximately 

5000 different items. 

The products presented in this brochure are produced either in our home, in the new fabrication and 

assembly shop, or on our behalf, mainly in Switzerland. We successfully export to many countries in the

Foot problems are on the increase, people are getting older and it is becoming 

more and more complicated to consult a podiatrist personally. By 

means of a mobile podiatric practice these potential clients can be served 

comfortably at home! 

According to the customer’s specifications we design and build mobile 

podiatric practices. Ambulances are redesigned and customized at our 

premises according to the particular expectations of our clients. One wants 

for nothing – electricity, heating, running water – everything is available. A 

regular driver’s license is needed to drive these vehicles. 

In this context, the hygienic aspect is very important. Disinfection, cleaning 

and sterilization of the instruments can easily be performed in the vehicle. 

The concept is based on the idea that the retailer, precisely the podiatrists’

into the STERI glass beads is sterilized. The STERI 25, 250 and 350 

are three versions of the same quality apparatus, with a stainless steel

INSTRUCTIONS 

1. Fill the container with dry and clean STERI glass beads 2 mm below rim. 

Never fill the container with other material or liquids. 

2. Switch on the sterilizer. After the heating-up time the inner temperature 

reaches 250°C (482°F) which is maintained as long as the sterilizer is 

switched on (+/- 5%). Attention! DO NOT TOUCH THE GLASS BEADS OR 

GLASS BEAD CONTAINER BEFORE COOLING DOWN! 

3. Remove the metal cover and do NOT place it back on the glass bead 

container until the sterilizer is switched off, to allow good ventilation of 

the outer case. 

4. Insert dry and clean instruments into the STERI glass beads as deep as 

possible for at least 10 seconds. 

5. Small metallic items can also be disinfected in the small glass cup; the 

latter should be placed on the STERI glass beads for at least 3 min., 

covered with the plain metal cover. 

6. The sterilizer can remain in constant use all day, with no overheating. 

The outer casing heats to approximately body temperature, which is 

normal. Current consumption is very low. FOR INDOOR USE ONLY! 

7. When the day is over switch off the sterilizer. Place the metal cover on 

the glass bead container to keep out dust and foreign bodies. 

8. The STERI glass beads must be replaced monthly or refilled in a dry 

state after careful cleaning.

Hot Stone Therapie 

Hot stone therapy, also known as hot rock massage, has been a part of the healing practices of 

many of the world's cultures including Asian cultures and Native American cultures, for thousands 

of years. Healing stone massage is used to relieve physical discomfort and to achieve emotional 

balance. Stone therapy uses smooth or textured heated basalt stones to promote relaxation and 

reduce stress by relieving stiffness and soreness. 

Like massage therapy, hot stone massage moves blood and lymph allowing the body to remove 

waste in a more efficient manner. Healing stone massage therapy techniques will leave you 

feeling mentally and physically refreshed and relaxed. 

Basalt stones were formed millions of years ago during volcanic eruptions that took place mainly 

near coastal areas. Basalt stones are used in hot stone massage because they contain magnetic 

or titanic iron which retains heat. Most basalt stones appear grey or greenish when dry and 

turn black when wet.

Properties of basalt stones | Basalt lava stones have a very high iron content. Therefore, they retain heat much better than other stones. Due 

to the high iron content and to avoid acute reactions, the stones should never be heated in a microwave. The characteristic color of basalt 

stones does not appear until they are lubricated with oil. The color spectrum ranges from deep black to dark green or dark blue. Since the 

ratio of minerals contained therein is varying, the stones are not always black. The thicker a basalt stone is the longer it can retain warmth.
