of certain Hazardous Substances (RoHS). The RoHS Directive restricts substances including lead,
mercury, cadmium, hexavalent chromium, and certain halogenated flame retardants such as PBB
(polybrominated biphenyls) and PBDE (polybrominated diphenyl ethers) in electrical and electronic
equipment.
