The regenerative feedback capability of the PM250D Power<br />
Module in generating mode (electronic braking) means that energy<br />
is returned to the supply system and not destroyed in a<br />
braking resistor. This saves space, time-consuming dimensioning<br />
of the braking resistor as well as its wiring. Generated heat is<br />
also reduced.<br />
An innovative circuit design reduces the supply harmonics. A<br />
line reactor is not required. This saves space and costs for engineering<br />
and procurement.<br />
The PM250D Power Module is also designed for safety-sensitive<br />
applications. In conjunction with a Safety Control Unit, the drive<br />
can be turned into a Safety Integrated Drive (see Control Units).<br />
