33 Chuck Miller Grants Awarded
to PVPUSD Teachers
Congratulations
4
In 1990, the Peninsula Education
Foundation (PEF) established an
endowment to honor Charles “Chuck”
Miller, former Rancho Vista principal,
past president of the Peninsula Education
Foundation, and local business leader.
Over the years, Chuck has donated
additional funds to the account in order to
increase the amount of grants provided.
This year’s grant amount, thanks to the
generosity of Mr. Miller coupled with a
PEF donation, was a total of $25,000.
Any teacher in the PVPUSD is eligible to
apply. Applications are judged on the
applicants’ proposed use of grant funds,
the benefits to students, and the potential
for helping to enhance classroom
instruction in the school or the district in
general. This year, the Chuck Miller Grants
are valued up to $1,000.00 each.
