Protein Electrophoresis System compact, economical and exclusively available from Nippon Genetics The FastGene ® Protein Electrophoresis chamber was developed specifically for the use of precast PAA (10 x 8 cm) gels for protein electrophoresis. It is made of highly pure, crystal-clear plastic, which facilitates the application of the sample and allows good visual control during electrophoresis. It can be run simultaneously with two gels. The assembly of the gels into the chamber is facilitated by using an innovative „wedge system“ that prevents leakage of the buffer reservoir. During electrophoresis, the gel cassettes from both sides are surrounded with running buffer to allow for efficient cooling and thus sharp protein bands. The chamber is manufactured according to CE directives. The BlueStar Prestained Protein Marker is a 3-colour-protein marker with 10 pre stained proteins in a size range of 10 – 180 kDa. 8 proteins are coupled with a blue chromophore. The 25 kDa reference protein is coupled with a green dye, whereas the 75 kDa reference protein is coupled with a red dye. The Blue Star prestained protein marker is free of ß-mercaptoethanol. The markers are suitable for all common buffer systems and are supplied ready for use in a loading buffer. Furthermore the BlueStar prestained Protein Marker is characterized by high efficiency in Western blot experiments onto PVDF, nylon- or nitrocellulose membranes.
