in the UK, MMU International have organised
a Welcome Event, which takes place between
Wednesday 12th September and Friday 14th
September. This is an opportunity to receive an
official welcome from the University and meet
other new students from around the world.

chance to meet and get to know lots
of new people once you’ve had the
chance to settle in.

club in the world - right here in
Manchester! Meet your reps at
MMUnion to get a coach to the ground.

MMU has 8 faculties spread across 5 campus
sites and our welcome reps will be on hand
at each faculty to help you find your way
around, answer your questions and direct
you towards anywhere that you need to go!
There will be a Union Hub at each campus
throughout the whole week (17 - 21 Sept).
Here you can meet your Welcome Week reps,
Union staff members, find out about Union
services, and buy all tickets and wristbands
for social events. Come along and get
involved!
MMUnion’s Advice Centre can offer advice
on finance, housing and academic issues.
Pop along to one of our Advice Centre Hubs
to find out more.
There will also be a number of informal
networking socials taking place at each
campus. This gives you chance to meet other
students who study on your campus, and
meet your Union reps. Come along for a chat
and a coffee and get any questions you may
have answered! Even if you are not a local
& commuting student, a mature student or
a student with children, it still gives you a
great chance to find out more about your
campus, meet your student experience
tutors, and other students!
