MISSION
Eastside Catholic High School is a faith-based educational
community where students learn to integrate their thinking and
believing in ways that encourage intellectual excellence, nurture
relationships and inspire a life of leadership and service to others.

While we educate our young men and women well,
we also take a broader view of what it means
to be a person in the Catholic tradition.
We develop strong minds and strong
bodies but it is the development
of the heart and faith
that completes us.
The Heart of Eastside Catholic
Dear Families and Friends of Eastside Catholic High School,
I hope this letter finds you well and enjoying the optimism that a
new spring brings. As I look back on our past school year, I am more
optimistic than ever.
Under Greg Marsh’s established and vibrant leadership, Fr. Heric’s
spiritual guidance and through the gifts of our remarkable faculty, I
know our students are receiving a wonderful education of the mind,
heart and spirit.
Our students energize us with their vigor, compassion and service
to each other and to others. They reflect the same values their parents
share with Eastside Catholic. As a community of faith and compassion,
we came together in support of the Hill family last fall when they lost
their son Brian, a sophomore at Eastside Catholic, in a car accident.
It is often said that moments of adversity reveal true character. Our
students, the adults in the schoolhouse and our parents responded with
such a natural sense of caring and love that we were all proud to be
Eastside Catholic Crusaders and blessed that we could provide some
small comfort to the Hill family in their time of profound loss.
While we educate our young men and women well, we also take a
broader view of what it means to be a person in the Catholic tradition.
Our goal is to act and teach as Jesus did, so our students will become
beacons of light in a world that needs illumination. We develop strong
minds and strong bodies but it is the development of the heart and faith
that completes us. That is the Eastside Catholic difference.
What I’ve witnessed with each passing year at Eastside Catholic
is many people willingly and graciously giving of themselves to make
a difference in our students’ lives. The adage, “It takes a village to raise
a child,” rings true when you spend time in the Eastside Catholic
community. You have made a difference in the lives of our students
through your energy and support of our mission.
On behalf of our students and our faculty and staff, thank you for
believing in and supporting Eastside Catholic. As we march toward a
bright future, your support ensures that we can provide our students
with the tools and the values to truly make our world a better place.
