'69. Dean Arthur E. Main, <strong>of</strong> the Alfred<br />

Th eological Semina ry and department <strong>of</strong> religious<br />

education at Alfred <strong>University</strong>, is the<br />

only one in active service <strong>of</strong> the fou r surviving<br />

m embers <strong>of</strong> the <strong>Rochester</strong> Theological Seminary<br />

class <strong>of</strong> 1872. Dr. Main, who is past<br />

his 80th year, has been dean <strong>of</strong> the Alfred<br />

Th eological School since 1901 and served as<br />

pres ident <strong>of</strong> Alfred <strong>University</strong> from 1893 to<br />

1895.<br />

'72. A final tribute was paid to the late Dr.<br />

Frank S. Fosd ick, for thirty years principal <strong>of</strong><br />

Masten Park High School, Buffalo, when the<br />

Buffalo School Board recently announced th at<br />

the name <strong>of</strong> the M a sten Park High School had<br />

been changed to th at <strong>of</strong> Frank S. Fosdick.<br />

'76. Joseph T. Alling, president <strong>of</strong> the Alling<br />

& Cory Com p any, <strong>of</strong> <strong>Rochester</strong>, is listed among<br />

t he heavy contributors to the Anti-Saloon League<br />

<strong>of</strong> New York, to which he presented a gift <strong>of</strong><br />

$ 3,000 in 1917 and $ 1,000 in 1920.<br />

Ex-'79. John :&. Abbott is now serving as<br />

president <strong>of</strong> the Livingston County Bar Association<br />

for his 22nd successive year.<br />

'80. Worthy H. Kinney has resigned as principa<br />

l <strong>of</strong> the Lyons Union Sohool, which position<br />

he has held con tinuo u sly for 39 years. During<br />

his term <strong>of</strong> service two new school houses have<br />

been built. The second building, erected in<br />

1923, is considered one <strong>of</strong> the finest school s in<br />

the state.<br />

'82. George A. Gil lete, attorney at <strong>Rochester</strong>,<br />

recen tl y returned from a four months' t ri p<br />

through Europe, the Near East and Northern<br />

Africa.<br />

Ex-'82. Dr. J. W. LeSeur, <strong>of</strong> Batavia, special<br />

rep resent ati v e and member <strong>of</strong> President<br />

P. E. Crowley'S personal staff, was toastmaster<br />

for th e annual banquet <strong>of</strong> the Fall B rook Association<br />

<strong>of</strong> the Pennsylvania Division, New York<br />

Central Railroad, which was held at Corni n g<br />

on May 5th.<br />

'83. A. G. Warren, form e rly <strong>of</strong> <strong>Rochester</strong>,<br />

is now connected with the Col w ell Pharmacal<br />

Corporation <strong>of</strong> New York Ci ty, <strong>of</strong> wh ich James<br />

W. Greene, '84, is president.<br />

'85. J us tice Adol ph J. Rodenbeck, <strong>of</strong> the<br />

Supre me Court, <strong>Rochester</strong>, was married to Miss<br />

Blanche B. Brown at New York City on March<br />

16th. Miss Brown was J ustice Rodenbeck's<br />

efficient secretary for many years.<br />

'90. James B. Moran, <strong>of</strong> DeLand, Fla., noted<br />

economist and writer, recentl y addressed the<br />

members <strong>of</strong> the Phi Sigm a Eta, com me rcial fraternity<br />

<strong>of</strong> Stetson <strong>University</strong> on "Economics and
