Cercetarea eficienŃei – obiectivul ineluctabil Drumul de la o economie planificată la o economie de piaŃă, în contextul apariŃiei sectorului privat competitiv, la nivel naŃional şi internaŃional, de generare a locurilor de muncă, nu se reduce la o simplă ecuaŃie tehnică. EsenŃiale sunt administrarea şi percepŃia componentelor istorice, culturale, psihologice şi sociologice. Această dimensiune imaterială este cu precădere importantă, atât pentru Europa cât şi pentru România, o Ńară bine ancorată în tradiŃiile sale şi străbătută de multiple curente politice, culturale şi religioase. DiscuŃiile cu privire la soarta rromilor din anumite state europene vin ca o confirmare a afirmaŃiei de mai sus. Acest proces de deschidere internaŃională dificil de administrat se complică şi mai mult sub presiunea globalizării economice: totul se află într-o continuă mişcare – competiŃia este acerbă, modelele de consum se schimbă, tipurile de management se rafinează, dinamica informaŃiei ia cu asalt marketingul şi comunicaŃiile, structurile costurilor urmează evoluŃia procesului de producŃie, priorităŃile consumatorilor de asemenea se modifică rapid, metodele de finanŃare sunt în permanenŃă înnoite, acest tip de antreprenoriat atrage tot mai mulŃi adepŃi. Integrarea în Uniunea Europeană survine astfel într-un moment marcant, oferind României un cadru mult mai favorabil, care îi va facilita intregrarea în economia mondială. Din păcate, datoriile cauzate de criză ale anumitor Ńări europene şi devalorizarea implicită a monedei unice va reduce spaŃiul de manevră a Uniunii Europene, iar România va trebui să-şi redubleze eforturile de accelerare a integrării în economia Europeană şi mondială. SoluŃia acestui amalgam de probleme rezidă într-o cerinŃă triplă: un program de formare de ultimă oră, o eficacitate economică de prim plan şi perseverenŃă aprigă în effort. Acest ghid de afaceri răspunde acestei cerinŃe. În primul rând, acest ghid a fost redactat de un grup de studenŃi de la Programul MBA organizat de Departamentul-Catedra UNESCO pentru schimburi interculturale şi interreligioase, Universitatea din Bucureşti, combinând astfel educaŃia universitară cu o pregătire intensivă şi accelerată pentru domeniul afacerilor. Conceptul deja depăşit de business to school (de la afaceri la şcoală) a fost înlocuit de cel de school to business (de la şcoală la afaceri) în lumea aceasta aflată în permanentă schimbare. Ghidul oferă, companiilor străine interesate de piaŃa românească şi companiilor româneşti interesate de extinderea internaŃională un instrument practic şi eficient, elaborat în contact direct cu mediul de afaceri din România. În cele din urmă, odată cu apariŃia Grupului de ConsultanŃă a UniversităŃii Bucureşti - UBCG – ghidul reflectă voinŃa şi aspiraŃiile unei noi generaŃii, hotărâtă să-şi ia soarta în mâini. Numeroasele provocări cu care inevitabil se va confrunta Uniunea Europeană vor determina generaŃiile tinere să îşi rezolve singure problemele, să fie innovative şi eficiente. Acum, mai mult ca oricând, eficienŃa este leitmotivul întregii activităŃi profesionale, care începe astfel chiar de pe băncile facultăŃii. Prof. Jean-Daniel Clavel 16
