Edit Delete Menu
The Edit > Delete menu contains text deletion operations. See Cutting and Deleting Text for more
information.
Delete Menu Item Description Command
Word Deletes text from the cursor to the
end of the current word and copies it
to the clipboard.
Line Deletes the current line and copies it
to the clipboard.
To End of Line Deletes text from the cursor to the
end of the line and copies it to the
clipboard.
Edit Other Menu
The Edit > Other menu contains miscellaneous editing operations.

Selection Deletes the selected text. delete_selection
All Delete all text in current buffer. delete_all
Edit Other Menu Item Description Command
Lowcase Translates the characters in the
selected text to lowercase.
Upcase Translates the characters in the
selected text to uppercase.
Capitalize Capitalizes the first character of the
current word.
Shift Left Deletes the first column of text in each
line of the selected text.
Shift Right Inserts a space at the first column of
each line of the selected text.
Overlay Block Overwrites selected block/column of
text at the cursor.
Adjust Block Overlays the selected text at the
cursor and fills the original selected
text with spaces.
Enumerate Displays the Enumerate dialog, which
allows you to add incrementing
numbers to a selection. See
Enumerate Dialog.
