TEXT EDITING<br />

Selection Operation Description Usage<br />

Copy Selection to Clipboard Copies selected text (or the<br />

entire line, if no selection) to<br />

the clipboard. You can also<br />

create a named clipboard with<br />

this operation—see Named<br />

Clipboards.<br />

Copy Selection to Cursor Copies selected text to the<br />

cursor location. Char and<br />

block selections are inserted<br />

before the character at the<br />

cursor, while lines are inserted<br />

at the location specified by the<br />

Line insert style setting<br />

(Tools > Options > Editing ><br />

General).<br />

Cut Selection Deletes a selection and<br />

copies it to the clipboard.<br />

Delete and Append to<br />

Clipboard<br />

Deletes a selection and<br />

appends it to the clipboard.<br />

Execute Selection Executes each line or sub-line<br />

of a selection as if entered on<br />

the command line.<br />

Files: Append Selection to File Appends selected text to the<br />

specified file.<br />

Files: Write Selection to File Writes selected text to the<br />

specified file.<br />

Fill Selection Fills a selection with the<br />

specified key character.<br />

Use the copy_to_clipboard<br />

command (Ctrl+C or Edit ><br />

Copy).<br />

Use the copy_to_cursor<br />

command or press Ctrl+Shift<br />

while holding the right mouse<br />

button<br />

(Ctrl+Shift+RbuttonDn).<br />
