environment in the context of SAARC countries. Economics of minerals
production in India. Willingness to pay and accept compensation, Use,
option, Existence and Bequest value, Tax on emissions, Tradable pollution
permits.
Unit V : Sustainable development, economic development and the
environment :- Sustainability; a neo-classical view; an ecological view.

poverty rights; resources conservation debt right; Economics of
