time out to
visit the
team and
lend some
muchneeded
verbal support.
The
team were a credit to
their school showing good
manners, a positive attitude
and a general presence
that was exemplary.
The team are now hoping
to be even more success-
ful at the forthcoming
Southwest Regional Finals
in November.

will be taking part in
this:
Y7 will do work on Fruit
14—19 At Highcliffe
Year 13 Leavers’ BBQ
At the end of term the
Sixth Form tutor team
paid a fond farewell to the
Year 13 students with a
BBQ in the Quad (see photographs)
The weather was
excellent, the conversation
was good and all were confident
that the GCE results
would turn out to be excellent,
as indeed they proved
to be. (See report on the
front page).
Enrichment
This year the
enrichment
programme
has been much
expanded in
line with the
expansion of
the numbers in
the Sixth
Form.
Amongst the
activities on
offer are netball
and football
teams,
martial arts,
yoga, trampolining,
aerobics
and rounders.
and Vegetables and make
a soup using local vegetables
wherever possible in
their Back to Basics module.
Y8 will make traditional
cakes and biscuits as part
of the Ready, Steady,
Cook! Module.
Y9 will make Toad in the
Hole and/or Shepherds Pie
as part of their Foreign
Flavours for All module.
