Lufthansa Technik,

its position in the completion
of standardized
business and corporate jet
cabins. Being the exclusive
partner for the Airbus A318
Elite and the Bombardier
Challenger 850, the German
Completion Center is at the
forefront to deliver a new
class of business and corporate
jets to the market.
Recently, Airbus signed a contract
with Lufthansa Technik
to outfit the cabins of A318
Elites, the latest member of the
Airbus corporate jet family. It
simultaneously concluded a
contract with A318 Elite launch
customer Comlux of Switzerland,
for outfitting its first
three aircraft. Agreements
cover outfitting initial A318
Elites, which are offered in one
of two cabin-layouts, seating
14 and 18 passengers.
This arrangement, which offers
clients a lot of flexibility in
the choice of furnishing details
such as fabrics and colors, allows
Airbus to deliver an attractively
priced package. Five
additional orders have been
placed with National Air
Service (NAS) of Saudi-Arabia
and another five with an undisclosed
customer.

Airbus A318 Elite just months
after its official launch is overwhelming.
Competitive pack-
age on price and turn-around
time allows corporations, governments,
and individuals to
receive a state-of-the-art business
jet for less money on short
notice,” says Walter Heerdt,

Technik.
At the end of 2005, Bombardier
Aerospace and Lufthansa
Technik announced an agreement
that secures 17 positions
at Lufthansa Technik’s Hamburg
facility for completing
Private office aboard the Airbus A318 Elite.
Challenger 850 business jets
over the next three years. In
addition to coordinating production
and installation,
Lufthansa Technik works closely
with Bombardier to conceptualize
and engineer executive
interiors that are innovative
and elegant. Challenger 850 aircraft
operators will also have
the option of adding up to two
additional fuel tanks, resulting
in a range of more than 3,100
nautical miles (5,741 kilometers)
with five passengers.

850 business jet arriving at our
facilities last month, we see a
huge demand for this new business
jet offering the largest
cabin in its class. Adding the
Challenger 850 business jet is a
significant upgrade of our
product portfolio,” comments

A standardized solution is
also offered for Boeing Business
Jet (BBJ). Named Leadership
