ShatterPro <strong>Sensors</strong> “Listen” Carefully<br />

These next-generation glassbreak sensors offer range<br />

adjustments for small and large rooms, easy-access design.<br />

Due to the popularity of its ShatterPro acoustic glassbreak<br />

sensor, GE Security has expanded the line to include<br />

surface mount, recessed, pre-wire, wireless and dual<br />

technology versions of the product. All based on patented<br />

Pattern Recognition Technology, these sensors combine a<br />

high detection rate and a high immunity to false alarms.<br />

The Recessed ShatterPro II is popular in both commercial<br />

and residential applications due to its attractive,<br />

unobtrusive appearance. It can be mounted directly into a<br />

ceiling or wall, with only a one-inch diameter hole. Despite<br />

its small size, the unit includes automatic test and end-user<br />

verification features.<br />

Shock <strong>Sensors</strong>: 24-Hour Reliability<br />

Shock sensors cover applications ranging from individual<br />

windows to skylights. They are placed directly on the glass<br />

and are triggered by the actual vibration created when the<br />

glass breaks. That means they can operate reliably in noisy<br />

areas, such as sales showrooms or lobbies. They are often<br />

used in residential environments for small acoustically “live”<br />

rooms, garages or vacation homes. Another advantage of<br />

shock sensors is that they provide a visible deterrent<br />

to intruders.<br />

NetworX Solution Series <strong>Glassbreak</strong>s<br />

The NetworX Solution Series glassbreak sensors are the most advanced in glassbreak<br />

detection the security industry has ever seen. The Solution Series uses patented<br />

microprocessor based 3x3 technology. With 3x3 technology, these new detectors<br />

identify and qualify multiple groups of data from three specific frequency ranges to<br />

determine whether any of the sounds present match the signature of breaking glass.<br />

With a maximum detection range of 20-25 feet, a low-profile design and the option<br />

of surface or flush mount, these detectors are great for either residential or<br />

commercial applications.<br />

DV Series Vault <strong>Sensors</strong> DV1201A, DV1221A<br />

DV Series Vault <strong>Sensors</strong> are designed to detect attempts to break into vaults,<br />

safes, night deposit boxes, automatic teller machines (ATMs), and other reinforced<br />

physical areas such as data storage and filing cabinets. The seismic detection<br />

system reacts to the characteristic vibration patterns of all breaking-and-entering<br />

tools, such as hammers, drills, diamond saws, hydraulic pressure tools, and thermal<br />

tools like welding, torch, and thermal lance. They sense vibrations that occur within a<br />

9.8 to 45.9 foot (3 to 14 meter) radius of where they are mounted, depending on<br />

the material and design of the protected object.<br />

The vault sensors allow for normal human activity around the protected area<br />

without the risk of creating unwanted alarms. To achieve this high level of accuracy,<br />

each sensor features “three sensors in one.” All three channels (counting, integration,<br />

and explosion) analyze the signal frequencies, duration, and amplitude in order to<br />

differentiate between random environmental disturbances and real intruder attack.<br />

The end result is sensors with excellent detection and false alarm immunity.<br />

The DV Series is a next generation development based on proven high technology<br />
