Las cifras recogidas en estas dos tablas son<br />
suficientemente elocuentes para <strong>de</strong>mostrar que<br />
el 2,6-dilerbutil-naftalén-disullonato sódico protege<br />
casi completamente a los animales <strong>de</strong> la acción<br />
irritante <strong>de</strong> los vapores sulfúricos.<br />
Resultados similares obtuvo Vleschhouwer<br />
para la sal monosulfonada (2).<br />
C O N C L U S I O N E S<br />
1.—El 2,6-diterbutil-naftalén-disulfonato sódico<br />
posee una toxicidad muy reducida e incluso<br />
algo inferior a la <strong>de</strong> su análogo monosulfonado.<br />

2.—El 2.6-diterbutil-naftalén-disulfonato sódico<br />
posee una acción antitusigena similar a la<br />
propia <strong>de</strong>l monosulfonato.<br />
S U M M A R Y<br />
The toxicity and antitussive action of sodium<br />
2,6-diterbutyl-naphtalen-disulphonate were investigated<br />
as < (implied with those exhibited by<br />
the respective monosulphonate.<br />
Sodium 2,6-diterbutyl-naphtalen-disulphonate<br />
exhibited a very low toxicity, which was somewhat<br />
lower than the one showed by its monosulphonated<br />
analogue. The antitussive activity of<br />
these two salts was found to be very similar.<br />
