Broccoli on<br />

Pistachio Rice<br />

(for two steam baskets)<br />

Serves 4<br />

500 g broccoli<br />

250 g basmati rice<br />

350 ml water for the rice<br />

100 g pistachios<br />

For the sauce:<br />

3 tbsp sour cream<br />

salt, pepper<br />

Water level in base pan: max.<br />

1. Put rice and water in rice bowl. Insert<br />

into steam basket and steam for 25 mins.<br />

In the meantime, wash broccoli and divide<br />

into florets.<br />

2. After the pre-steaming time is over,<br />

remove the rice bowl and place the steam<br />

basket with the broccoli into the food<br />

steamer.<br />

3. Add pistachios to rice and mix.<br />

Position rice bowl in steam basket above<br />

broccoli and steam both for another 20<br />

mins.<br />

4. Mix a little vegetable liquid from the<br />

drip pan with the sour cream to make a<br />

sauce. Season to taste.<br />

5. Arrange rice and broccoli in a warmed<br />

serving dish, pour sauce over broccoli and<br />

serve immediately.<br />

Serving suggestion: Dry white wine is a<br />

perfect accompaniment for this dish.<br />

Bróculi con Arroz y<br />

Pistachos<br />

(dos contenedores)<br />

4 Personas<br />

500 g bróculi<br />

250 g arroz basmati<br />

350 ml agua para el arroz<br />

100 g pistachos<br />

Para la salsa:<br />

3 cucharaditas de yogurt o nata<br />

líquida agria<br />

sal, pimienta<br />

Nivel de agua en la base: máximo<br />

1. Poner el arroz y el agua en el Bol de<br />

arroz. Poner en el contenedor de vapor y<br />

cocerlo al vapor durante 25 minutos.<br />

Entretanto lavar el bróculi y separar las<br />

cabezuelas.<br />

2. Una vez precocido, retirar el Bol y<br />

colocarlo en el contenedor del bróculi.<br />

3. Añadir los pistachos al arroz y mezclarlo.<br />

Colocar el Bol en el contenedor<br />

superior encima del bróculi y cocer al<br />

vapor durante otros 20 minutos.<br />

4. Mezclar un poco de líquido de verdura<br />

de la bandeja recogedora con el yogurt<br />

para ligar la salsa. Sazonar a gusto.<br />

5. Poner el arroz y el bróculi en una fuente<br />

precalentada y verter la salsa sobre el<br />

bróculi. Servir al momento.<br />

Un vino blanco seco va perfectamente con<br />

este plato.<br />
