Tortilla<br />

(for one steam basket)<br />

Serves 2<br />

500 g potatoes<br />

1 onion<br />

4 eggs<br />

salt, pepper, nutmeg<br />

Water level in base pan: max.<br />

1. Wash potatoes, leaving them in their<br />

skins. Place potatoes in steam basket and<br />

steam for 30 mins. Let cool.<br />

2. Chop onion.<br />

3. Peel and slice potatoes. Layer in rice<br />

bowl. Sprinkle chopped onions between<br />

each layer.<br />

4. With a portable mixer such as the<br />

<strong>Braun</strong> Multimix, beat eggs until frothy;<br />

season with salt, pepper and nutmeg.<br />

5. Pour egg mixture over potatoes. Place<br />

rice bowl into steam basket and poach for<br />

20 mins.<br />

6. Loosen tortilla from edges of rice bowl<br />

with a knife and turn onto a warmed serving<br />

dish.<br />

Serving suggestion: Serve a tomato salad<br />

with a few onions rings and a vinegar and<br />

oil dressing on the side, if you like.<br />

Egg dishes / Platos de Huevos<br />

Tortilla de Cebolla<br />

(un contenedor)<br />

2 Personas<br />

500 g patatas<br />

1 cebolla<br />

4 huevos<br />

sal, pimienta, nuez moscada<br />

Nivel de agua en la base: máximo<br />

1. Lavar las patatas y ponerlas con la piel<br />

en el contenedor. Cocer al vapor durante<br />

30 minutos. Dejarlas enfriar.<br />

2. Picar la cebolla.<br />

3. Pelar y cortar las patatas en rodajas.<br />

Ponerlas en el Bol de arroz formando<br />

capas. Esparcir la cebolla entre cada capa.<br />

4. Con la <strong>Braun</strong> Minipimer, batir los huevos<br />

hasta que queden espumosos. Añadir<br />

sal, pimienta y nuez moscada.<br />

5. Verter la mezcla de huevos sobre las<br />

patatas. Insertar el Bol de arroz en el contenedor<br />

y cocer durante 20 minutos.<br />

6. Separar la tortilla de los bordes del Bol<br />

de arroz con un cuchillo y ponerla en un<br />

plato precalentado.<br />

Se puede servir la tortilla acompañada de<br />

unos tomates y anillos de cebolla.
