Glottochronology of Hña-maclasinca--meco languages (Otopame)
The author applies the principles of glottochronology to the hñãhñũè
(otomí), hñathó (mazahua), maclasinca (matlazinca), yäkakhó (ocuilteco), xíyui
(Northern Pame), ñáhu (Southern Pame) and úzẽ'ẽni (chichimeco jonaz)
languages (designations given to these languages by the speakers themselves).
The reviewing of previous classifications and glottochronologies brings out two
points of interest : time depths of divergency between languages obtained by a
comparative, reconstructive and glottochronological study aye halved if they are
compared to preliminary glottochronologies ; furthermore, the results of deep
glottochronology ressemble in many ways non-glottochronological lexicostatistics.
The new glottochronology associates the seven languages in a single
micro-phylum (maximum divergency : a minimum of 27 centuries), sub-divided
into two branches (hña-maclasinca, 17 cm, аnd mеcо, 15 cm), the first divided
into two hña families (the hñãhñũè аnd hñathó languages 4 cm), and maclasinca
(the maclasinca and yäkakhó languages 7 cm), and the second into the xíyuiñáhu
families (8 cm for these two languages), and úzẽ'ẽni (single language 0
cm).

In diesem Artikel versucht der Autor die Glottochronologie auf die
Sprachen anzuwenden, die von ihren natürlichen Sprechern folgenderweise
benannt werden : hñãhñũè (otomí), hñathó (mazahua), maclasinca (matlazinca),
yäkakhó (ocuilteco), xíyui (Nordpame), ñáhu (Südpame) und úzẽ'ẽni
(chichimeco jonaz). Eine Überprüfung der früheren Klassifikationen und
Glottochronologien unterstreicht zwei interessante Punkte : die Zeittiefen der
Abweichung zwischen diesen Sprachen, die durch ein komparatives,
rekonstruktives und glottochronologisches Studium verlangt werden,
beschränken sich auf die Hälfte wenn man sie mit vorlaüfigen
Glottochronologien vergleicht ; ferner ähneln die Ergebnisse einer gründlichen
Glottochronologie in vielen Gesichtspunkten der nicht glottochronologischen
Lexiko-Statistik. Die neue Glottochronologie vereint die sieben Sprachen in
einem einzigen Mikrophylum (höchste Abweichung 27 Jahrhunderte minimum),
unterteilt in zwei Sprachfamilien (hña-maclasinca 17 Jhdt - min. und meco 15
Jhdt - min.), die erste in zwei hña-Familien (hñãhñũè und hñathó-Sprachen 4 Jhdt
