WMA is short for Windows Media Audio and<br />

refers to an audio compression technology<br />

that is developed by Microsoft Corporation.<br />

WMA data can be encoded by using Windows<br />

Media Player version 7 or later.<br />

logo are trademarks, or registered trademarks<br />

of Microsoft Corporation in the United States<br />

and/or other countries.<br />

Notes<br />

! With some applications used to encode WMA<br />

files, this unit may not operate correctly.<br />

! With some applications used to encode WMA<br />

files, album names and other text information<br />

may not be correctly displayed.<br />

Protecting your unit from<br />

theft<br />

The front panel can be detached from the<br />

head unit and stored in the protective case<br />

provided to discourage theft.<br />

2 Grab the front panel and remove.<br />

Grab the right side of the front panel and pull<br />

away to the left. The front panel will be detached<br />

from the head unit.<br />

3Put the front panel into the protective<br />

case provided for safe keeping.<br />

Attaching the front panel<br />

1 Place the front panel flat against the<br />

head unit.<br />

2 Press the front panel into the face of<br />

the head unit until it is firmly seated.<br />

Important<br />

! Never use force or grip the display and the<br />

buttons too tightly when removing or attaching.<br />

! Avoid subjecting the front panel to excessive<br />

shocks.<br />

! Keep the front panel out of direct sunlight and<br />

high temperatures.<br />

Removing the front panel<br />

1 Press DETACH to release the front<br />

panel.<br />

Press DETACH and the right side of the panel<br />

is released from the head unit.<br />
