Historia y Cultura Festival Internacional On the Coast History and Culture International Festival On the Coast Destin – Mayo 30: ¡El Festival Internacional On the Coast fue todo un éxito! Cientos de personas atendieron y hubo más de 30 puestos de vendedores incluyendo puestos de comida mexicana, italiana, China y también de otros países. Vendedores también exhibieron sus productos y vinieron desde Panama City y Pensacola. Más de 25 naciones estuvieron representadas incluyendo grupos folclóricos, cantantes, y comido en un evento como cual no se había hecho en esta área por más de 10 años. El evento fue organizado por <strong>Conexión</strong>, en colaboración con la revista On the Coast, las Kasba Dancers, y American DJ Entertainment and Productions. Entro los grupos de baile que participaron se encuentran las Kasba Dancers, Emerald Coast Bellanitian Dancers, y las Gypsy Rhythm Dancers de Panama City por nombrar algunos. Un favorito del público, el joven Reid Soria de Autism Sings LLC, entretuvo al público con varias canciones antes de que la banda principal, Deja Vu, la cual es una de las más populares del área, cerrara el evento. Los organizadores dan las gracias a Cox Communications, K2 Media y Bric a Brac por apoyar la actividad y especialmente agradecen al anfitrión, Shoreline Village de Destin. El próximo año durante la primavera se llevara a cabo el segundo anual Festival Internacional On the Coast. Destin – 30 May: International Festival On the Coast was a great success! Hundreds attended and there were more than 30 vendors participated including food vendors with Mexican, Italian, Chinese food and from other countries. Vendors displayed their products and came from as far away as Panama City and Pensacola. More than 25 nations were represented in folklore, singers, and food in an event the likes of which had not been done in our area for over 10 years. The event was organized by <strong>Conexión</strong>, in partnership with On the Coast Magazine, the Kasba Dancers, and American DJ Entertainment and Productions. Performances on stage included the Kasba Dancers, Emerald Coast Bellanitian Dancers, and the Gypsy Rhythm Dancers from Panama City to name a few. Area favorite, Reid Soria of Autism Sings LLC, entertained the crowd with several songs just prior to the closing band, Déjà vu, one of the area’s best bands. The organizers wish to thank Cox Communications, K2 Media and Bric a Brac for supporting the activity and a special thanks goes to the host, Shoreline Village in Destin.
