RISARALDA UN DESTINO LLENO DE VIDA

The municipality of Guática rises
on the slopes of the eastern
hill of the Western mountain
range, from here you get
to observe the hill of Gamonra.
Its mountain top is of rounded
hills, separated by flat areas.
The Guática River is its main hydrographic
source, it rises in the
upper San Vicente area (stateside
of Antioquia), it descends
getting to the Risaralda River.
Its best-known cultural icons
are: the patron saint festivities,
the onion festivals, the sugarcane
festivals in Santa Ana and the
water festivals in San Clemente.
Agriculture is part of its main
economic source, which is based
on crops and trade. Civil society
and the community in general
participate in these tasks.
