EXTRAITS SECS 56 EXTRAITS SECS Les extraits secs sont des formes solides obtenues par évaporation du solvant ayant servi à l’extraction. Ils ne contiennent qu’une partie des principes actifs de la plante en fonction du solvant utilisé pour l’extraction. Ils sont hygroscopiques. Les extraits secs sont obtenus par dessiccation sous vide partiel à 45/50°C d’un liquide qui est soit un extrait aqueux, soit un extrait hydro alcoolique. La durée est plus importante mais les principes actifs sont mieux respectés. Afi n d’assurer une teneur en substance active, Cooper sélectionne un rapport plante / extrait minimum de 4/1 minimum. Des substances inertes appropriées peuvent être ajoutées (maltodextrine, silice, etc.).
