rEPlaciNG thE maiN bUrNErS<br />

1) Your Ducane ® gas barbecue must be “OFF” and cool.<br />

2) Turn “OFF” gas at source.<br />

3) Remove the cooking grate and the heat distribution plates, exposing the burner<br />

tubes.<br />

4) Remove front panel knobs, bezels and igniter Module for electronic ignition for the<br />

burners.<br />

5) Then remove the front panel.<br />

See: inspection of the Spider/insect Screens for removal of the burner tube.<br />

To reassemble, reverse steps 3 through 5 above.<br />

m caUtioN: the burner openings (1) must be positioned<br />

properly over the valve orifices (2). check proper assembly<br />

before fastening manifold/front panel in place.<br />

m WarNiNG: after reinstalling the gas lines, they should be<br />

leak checked with a soap and water solution before using<br />

the barbecue.<br />

battEry rEPlacEmENt oF bUrNEr iGNitEr<br />

Unscrew the push button igniter and remove the old battery and replace with a new one.<br />

Requires 1 “AA” alkaline battery. The shrink wrap must be removed from the battery<br />

before installation.<br />
