3.4 Noise emissions and vibration (EN 50144)
The typical A-rated sound pressure level is 72 dB(A).
The typical A-weighted sound capacity level is 85 dB.
4. P R E P A R A T I O N
Be convincing that the machine has not been damaged in transit. Check that the nominal voltage is the
same as the voltage indicated on the rating plate and that all parts that belong to the standard equipment
are available.
4.1 Electrical connection
Operate this machine only via a properly earthed 3-phase socked (CEE 400V-3P+N+PE 16A-6h, for
WS 75H CEE 400V-3P+PE 32A-6h, resp. 230V CEE 230V-3P+PE ).
Please take care for a correct mains voltage (400 V, resp. 230V).
Incorrect mains voltage, like undervoltage, phase-disconnection on unsymmetrical phase voltage decreases
the power output considerable and can take to irreparable damages of the motor.
The motor electronic can temporarily be used on 450 Volt. Higher voltages however can cause irreparable
damages. Please note that when operating the machine via a generator, this does not generate higher
voltage peaks.
The above mentioned machines can be used at a generator or a transformator provided by the construction
site, if following conditions are kept:
- operating voltage within +5% and –10 % to nominal voltage
- integrated automatic voltage controller with start amplification
- frequency 50 – 60Hz; max. 65 Hz
- AC voltage, power output at least 16 kVA
Do not use any other devices at the generator/transformator at the same time. The switching on and off of
other devices can cause undervoltage and / or overvoltage peaks that can damage the machine.
4.2 Water connection
Connect the water to the supply via the plug-in nipple [20]. For the WS 75H connect the water supply to the
converter box. Pay attention for the water input and water output.
Attention: water pressure at least 1 bar, max. 3 bar.
Please use a GARDENA coupling as the connecting piece to the machine. This can be obtained from a
garden center or builders’ merchant.
A water coupling of brass of high quality can be received directly from WEKA.
Use only clean water, as dirty water will considerably disturb the heat exchange on the cooling surface and
thereby the motor can be totally damaged.
Else the seals wear out very quickly.
Attention: Under full power conditions are at least 1 l water per minute required.
4.3 Cutting tool - Diamond saw blade
Use only appropriate diamond tools with segments that are adjusted on the material that is to be cutted. If
you use segments that are too hard, you risk not only a small working progress but also a total standstill.
Treat the saw blades carefully. If single segments are missing or the blade is badly clamped affected with
a radial run out, there might be developed dangerous unbalances which cause damages on the machine
and also endanger the operator.
Our sales partner are specialists for these tools. Please let yourself be advised comprehensively before
deciding for a saw blade.
5. P U T T I N G I N T O O P E R A T I O N
5.1 Assembling the guide-way
At first mark the cutting line.
If you use the standard guide-way with 2,18 m length, place two steel dowels M12 (best impact dowels) in
distance of about 1,5m, 147 - 190mm remote of the cutting (s. drawing).
Fix the both brackets at first only loose.
