7. 2012 Intercontinental Judges Course<br />

Course Schedule, Course Procedures and timing<br />

Proposal for examination:<br />

For practice exams, there will be 3 sets of exams.<br />

After overall score, WTC will rank judges under D-Score and E-Score and will choose the<br />

eligible judges to be designated as D-Judges or R-Judges.<br />

Translation to French, Spanish and Russian.<br />

WTC agreed on the proposal for the following translators during Intercontinental Judges<br />

Course:<br />

FRE – Andrée Montreuil (CAN)<br />

RUS – Elena Lowery (RUS)<br />

ESP – Helena Lario (ARG)<br />

2013 FIG Judges Rules<br />

Since there is no detailed information available at this time in the FIG Judges rules on the<br />

following matters, the WTC proposes the following:<br />

To be eligible for Judges’ international brevet, candidates must be minimum 18 years old.<br />

The required 6 years for Category III must be in a row.<br />

The counting of the 6 years will be based on the number of cycles (for 2013 XI and XII) and<br />

not counting exact years because of the difficulty to follow up the time where each judge got<br />

Category III.
