4-CHANNEL RADIO CONTROL UNIT
Your almost-ready-to-fly Skydreamer set
includes a 4-channel radio control unit, receiver
and flight controller already installed in the
Skydreamer , as well as 2 micro-servos to
operate the rudder and elevator. This system is
designed to have a range of 300m which means
that you can control your aeroplane up to this
distance. In practice, normal flying will be
conducted at a closer distance in order to see the
flight attitude of the model.
Never start when batteries in the transmitter are
weak (voltage indicator in red area) otherwise your
Skydreamer could fly away out of control.
Transmitter
• This transmitter gives a stable and adequate
output under most climatic conditions.
• The frequency bands are precise and conform
to internationally recognised standards. They
are free from spurious radiation and therefore
do not interfere with adjacent bands. For your
guidance the bands are displayed on the front
of the case.
• Interchangeable plug-in crystals enable a rapid
change of frequency by simply unplugging them
from the front of the case. (A matching crystal
will also be required for the receiver). The use
of faulty crystals can
damage the radio
and invalidates
our guarantee.
Receiver - Changing the receiver crystal
The receiver and the speed controller are built into
the Skydreamer and generally require no
maintenance. If you would like to fly in an area
where your frequency (channel) is often used by
other modellers you should buy a pair of crystals of
another frequency. The crystal of the receiver is
changed as detailed below.

Pull out the receiver's crystal and push in the new
crystal. Make sure that it is fully inserted. (The
crystal in the transmitter must be changed at the
same time). Crystal for the transmitter (label TX)
and receiver (RX) must be of the same channel.
Check the functions of the radio system and
servos.
