les familles accèdent sous sa voûte parsemée
de fenêtres numériques à un foisonnement de
matières et d’odeurs, de végétaux et de produits
des plus traditionnels aux plus novateurs.
TOUT L’ART DE VIVRE À L’ITALIENNE
Chaque soir, les artistes du Cirque du Soleil
colorent l’enceinte de cette manifestation avec
un spectacle engagé. Installée au nord-ouest de
Milan, l’exposition est accessible directement en
métro du centre-ville, qui abrite un patrimoine
majeur. En partant de la sublime Piazza Del
Duomo, la galerie Victor-Emmanuel II, célèbre
pour ses boutiques de luxe, débouche sur la Scala,
un opéra à la programmation unique. À deux pas,
les fashionistas ne manqueront pas le très chic
Quadrilatero della moda, véritable QG des
couturiers italiens. Dans cette cité lombarde, il
fait bon flâner chez les antiquaires du quartier
Sant’Ambrogio, s’attabler le long des pittoresques
navigli, qui rappellent les canaux de Venise, ou
dans l’élégant quartier de Brera, où l’animation
culmine à la nuit tombée.

ITALY'S ART OF LIVING
Every evening the Cirque du Soleil actiontheatre
company fills the site with its colourful
energy in a specially created topical show.
The exhibition ground lies to the north-west of
Milan and is reached direct by metro from
the city centre with its wonderful heritage. Starting
from the sublime Piazza Del Duomo, the
Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II famed for its
luxury stores leads you to the unique La Scala
opera house. A short distance away lies the
fashionistas' paradise: the hugely chic Quadrilatero
della Moda, the Italian couturiers' HQ.
In this Lombard city it's a special pleasure
to explore the antiques shops in Sant'Ambrogio
and people watch from a table beside the
picturesque navigli, reminiscent of Venice's
canals, or in the elegant Brera district that's so
lively at night.
