She took part in an after-school Biathlon Bearsprogram and loved it. Megan’s work ethic and love for the outdoorscan be traced back to growing up on her parents ranch of 40 horses.In 2005, Megan left home to train in Canmore and pursue herdream of representing Canada at the Olympic Winter Games whichshe accomplished in 2010. Thanks to the support of her hometownand personal sponsors, Megan has been able to focus on biathlon,and take a few university correspondence courses as well. Elle a participé à unprogramme parascolaire des Ours du Biathlon et elle s’est éprise dusport. Sa discipline au travail et son amour pour la grande nature sesont développés sur le ranch de ses parents, qui compte quelques 40chevaux. En 2005, Megan a déménagé à Canmore pour s’entraîner àtemps plein et poursuivre son rêve de représenter le Canada aux Jeuxolympiques d’hiver, ce qu’elle a fait en 2010.Grâce à l’appui de saville et de ses commanditaires personnels, elle a pu se concentrer surl’entraînement et prendre quelques cours universitaires par-dessusle marché. Megan a réalisé son rêve olympique en 2010 quand elles’est qualifiée aux Jeux olympiques d’hiver. Megan aime passer dutemps au chalet familial, où elle fait la planche nautique, la voile etle saut aux falaises.
