Handset settings (only available on the handset)<br />

• Press Menu, select Settings and press OK.<br />

• Select HS Settings and press OK.<br />

• Select a function from the list using the navigation keys †/π and press OK.<br />

- Select Base - Select the desired base station.<br />

- Language - Select the desired display language.<br />

- Auto Answer - Just pick up the handset from the base to answer a call (without<br />

pressing any key).<br />

- Register - Accessory handsets must be registered to the base station (see<br />

chapter “Register new handsets”).<br />

- De-register - Select the handset you want to deregister.<br />

- Reset handset<br />

Base station settings (available on the base)<br />

• Press Menu, select Settings and press OK.<br />

• Select a function from the list using the navigation keys †/π and press OK.<br />

- Language<br />

- De-register - Select the handset you want to deregister.<br />

- Ring Priority - If several handsets are registered to your base station, all<br />

handsets ring at the same time. You can select a single handset to ring first and<br />

assign the number of rings (2, 4, 6 or 8 rings).<br />

- Dial Mode - Tone: Normal dialling procedure on analog lines. Pulse: May be<br />

required for connecting older telephone systems. Please refer to the relevant<br />

documentation.<br />

- Flash Time - Select the flash time for the analogue network functionalities in<br />

your country.<br />

- First Ring - The first ring is suppressed. The base rings only after the second<br />

ring.<br />

- Full ECO Mode - When Full ECO Mode is set to ON, the handset’s power transmission<br />

is regulated and a radiation reduction is achieved when it is near the<br />

base station.<br />

- Manual ECO - Select the desired ECO Mode range (big/small room).<br />

- System PIN - You can modify the PIN code (0000 on delivery).<br />

- PBX Access - If you are connected to a PBX, you may need to enter an access<br />

code to allow the public exchange to assign an external line for external calls.<br />
