GB Fitsum Arega has over 20 years<br />
of experience serving in government<br />
offices. In the years prior to his current<br />
role, Mr. Arega held positions in the<br />
Office of the Prime Minister in different<br />
capacities: Team Leader in the<br />
Economic Affairs Sector; Special<br />
Assistant to the Head of Economic<br />
Affairs (to the Deputy Prime Minister);<br />
Bureau Head of the Capital Budget<br />
Projects Bureau; and Head of Planning<br />
and Management. Before his<br />
appointment as Commissioner of the<br />
Ethiopian Investment Commission, he<br />
also served as Head of the Addis Ababa<br />
Investment Agency, Head of the Addis<br />
Ababa Trade and Industry Bureau, and<br />
served in different public enterprises as<br />
board chairman and member. Mr. Arega<br />
has an MA in Development Economics<br />
and Policy Management from the<br />
University of Manchester, an MBA from<br />
the Open University Business School,<br />
and a PGD in Local Government<br />
Systems and Management from<br />
the University of Birmingham.<br />

fonctions actuelles, M Arega a incarné<br />
plusieurs rôles au sein du Cabinet<br />
du Premier ministre en tant que : Chef<br />

des affaires économiques (au Vice-<br />
Premier Ministre); Chef de cabinet<br />

éthiopienne des investissements,<br />
M Arega a également servi en qualité de<br />

Addis-Abeba, chef du Bureau de<br />
commerce et d’industrie d’Addis-Abeba ;<br />
il a présidé et siégé aux conseils<br />
d’administrations de plusieurs<br />
entreprises privées. M. Arega est titulaire<br />
d’une maîtrise en économie du<br />
développement et en gestion publique<br />
à l’Université de Manchester, d’un MBA<br />
de l’Open University Business School<br />
et d’un diplôme d’études supérieures<br />
en management des systèmes<br />
d’administrations locales à l’Université<br />

manages Medsourcing, a manufacturing<br />
company for denim and urban fast<br />
fashion. Medsourcing (500 direct and<br />
indirect jobs) produces almost 1,200,000<br />
articles for men, women and children as<br />
finished products based on their own<br />
collections or according to requests<br />
from customers. Medsourcing offers a<br />
broad range of products and exports to<br />
France, Spain, Germany and Italy. Its<br />
customers are retail chains, mail order<br />
businesses, brands and specialist<br />
chains, etc. Abderrahmane Atfi is a<br />
graduate of ISCAE (Morocco).<br />

Arribas has recently got her PhD degree<br />
with an academic research focused on<br />
the digital transformation in fashion and<br />
the important role open innovation<br />
can play in it.<br />
She has written articles and presented<br />
part of her research work in different<br />
international conferences; and in 2016<br />
she joined the FashionLab of Dassault<br />
Systèmes in Paris where she works on<br />
different innovation projects in the<br />
domains of fashion and lifestyle.<br />
