When they mention a love like ours<br />
They say it comes from a choice.<br />
They say we choose who we are<br />
While they look at us with disgust<br />
I agree with their statement because<br />
I did get to choose<br />
But it’s not the gender I chose,<br />
It’s every aspect of you.<br />
Out of all men and all women<br />
All genders and those with none.<br />
I choose you, my perfect person<br />
who I’d choose over everyone.<br />
