The brew group, coffee grounds
drawer, service door or knob are in an
incorrect position for proper operation
of the machine.

To turn off the red light, make sure
that all the components are inserted
or closed properly.
The machine needs to be descaled. Follow the descaling procedure
described in section 10.
The machine is carrying out a rinse
cycle.
The machine is malfunctioning and
will not brew coffee, or dispense hot
water or steam.
Turn the machine off and restart it
after 30 seconds.
Retry 2 or 3 times.
If the machine will NOT turn on,
contact the service centre.
