In improving and evaluating development performance which is being
conducted this time, Aceh progressively need the complete statistical,
trustworthy and accurate about all social and economic life aspect in this
area.
Such statistical data are very important especially to the Regional
Development Planning Board (BAPPEDA) Aceh which always requires
various information to perfect all evaluations of planning and control
development performance that have been underscored.
As the previous years, the publication of Aceh in Figures 2010is a joint
effort between Regional Development Planning Board (BAPPEDA) as
administration caretaker in planning and controlling of regional
development and BPS Aceh. At its point, Bappeda can run the fundamental
duty of institue effectively.
Finally, thanks are due to all agencies who have given their assistances
which contribute to the presence of this publication.
