Golden City è un luogo che si trova a due ore da Chennai - ovvero Madras, prima che gli indiani cambiassero
i nomi a tutte le città per allontanare il ricordo della dominazione inglese - nell’India del sud.
Il paradosso è che se la cerchi sulla carta geografica non la trovi, ma non è da escludere che un giorno
compaia proprio con questa denominazione.
Città dell’Oro, infatti, è un nome un po’ fiabesco ispirato alla visione di due avatar (in India sono maestri
che si incarnano per far evolvere la coscienza umana, come trovi spiegato a pag. 10): secondo Sri Amma e
Bhagavan, l’uomo sta entrando in un’Età dell’Oro per la sua coscienza. Il regalo dei due avatar al mondo,
per aiutare la realizzazione di questa Età dell’Oro, si chiama Diksha, e sostiene il cammino di coloro che
vogliono fare esperienza di un senso di non separazione, all’interno di se stessi e nei confronti di tutto
ciò che ci circonda, gli altri esseri umani, la natura, persino Dio. Quando questo senso di non separazione
accade dentro di noi, sperimentiamo l’Unità. E il suo riflesso esteriore non potrà che essere
quello che Bhagavan chiama, appunto, l’Età dell’Oro.
Sri Amma e Bhagavan hanno un intento: riunire, prima del 2012, 64.000 persone che abbiano
realizzato il senso di unità (l’articolo Il tempio dell’unità, a pag. 26, lo racconta bene). Questo sprigionerà
un’energia tale da aiutare il risveglio dell’umanità intera, in modo che tutti gli abitanti
della terra ritrovino la perduta unità col Divino.
La Oneness University, Università dell’Unità, è un luogo in cui si aiuta chi vuole fare questa
esperienza diretta del Divino, o Presenza: non ci sono libri, non ci sono maestri, solo Guide.
Sono monaci indiani che non superano i 25 anni d’età ma che condividono la loro miracolosa
saggezza con chi si presenta per fare un corso di 21 giorni (se vuoi sapere cos’è, vai a
pag. 28). L’esperienza è accelerata da un’energia divina chiamata Diksha, che puoi assaggiare
anche in Italia, frequentando le serate organizzate in varie città d’Italia (scopri dove nel sito

Golden City is a place about two hours from
Chennai (Madras before the Indians changed all the
names of the cities to forget the British dominion),
South India. Paradoxically if you look for it on a map
you won’t find it but it cannot be excluded that one
day it may be added with the name Golden City.
In fact, Golden City is a bit of a fairytale name
inspired by the vision of two avatars (teachers who
incarnate to help human conscience evolve): according
to Sri Amma and Bhagavan, mankind is entering
a Golden Age for its conscience. The gift of the two
avatars to the world, to help achieve the Golden Age
is called Deeksha. The Deeksha supports those who
wish to experience non-separation within themselves,
and towards everything that surrounds them,
other human beings, nature, and even God.
When we experience this sense of non-separation
we experience Oneness. The external reflection of
this is what Bhagavan calls the Golden Age.
Sri Amma and Bhagavan have a mission: gather
before 2012, 64,000 people who have achieved a state
of oneness. This will release such an energy that will
help the awakening of the entire humanity so that

the inhabitants of the earth will find the lost Oneness
with the Divine (for the meaning of Divine see the
interview on page 26).
The Oneness University is a place which helps
those who wish to directly live this experience of
the Divine, of the Presence: there are no books,
there are no teachers but Guides. They are Indian
monks aged less than 25 years who however share
their miraculous wisdom with who goes there for
the 21 day process (to find out what it is go to page
28); the experience is accelerated by a divine energy
called Deeksha; you can experience a foretaste of
this in Italy by going to the Deeksha evenings organised
in different towns in Italy (www.diksha.it).
