What are we expecting
from Ice Europe 2011?

All converting operators’ attention is now focused on the forthcoming ICE Europe 2001,
the largest and most important conversion industry trade fair, which will be held from
the 8th to the 10th of November in the new Munich Trade Fair Centre venue. The organisers
have released the following statistical information, which is literally reported below:
an exhibition area of 9,800 sqm. with 380 exhibitors coming from 22 foreign countries
(over 40% of companies come from countries other than Germany), a 16% increase
compared to the previous edition, which is made up by first time exhibitors. Some of the top participating
countries are Italy, Holland, France, Switzerland, United Kingdom and the US. This ICE Europe
2011 edition, like other industry events, is regarded as an indicator by the converting professionals, who
are all keen to find new solutions focused on energy efficiency, raw material usage reduction, sustainable
production and biodegradable material processing. Currently, industrial processes are heavily affected
by the shortage of raw materials and by higher energy costs; converting operators are all eager to
find solutions in the trade fair which might allow them to tackle the problems they are facing in this current
global recession. From the profile of the companies exhibiting at the ICE Europe 2011, it transpires
that they are clearly focused on using flexible and conversion materials such as paper, films, foils, nonwovens.
Exhibitors will display their latest equipment: drying, cutting, finishing and flexo printing machines
and equipment. Visitors will be able to take a peek at a wide range of new and improved technologies
and solutions for processing and converting flexible materials.
We wish a successful event to all exhibitors, professionals and visitors and, last but not least, the trade
fair organisers.

di tutti gli operatori del converting è ora tutta rivolta all'imminente fiera
ICE Europe 2011, la più grande e importante manifestazione internazionale per l'industria
della trasformazione, che si svolgerà dall'8 al 10 novembre prossimo nella
nuova sede del Munich Trade Fair Centre. Gli organizzatori hanno snocciolato alcuni
dati che riprendiamo pari pari: una superficie espositiva di 9.800 mq. con 380
L’attenzione
espositori provenienti da 22 Paesi esteri, (oltre il 40% di aziende provengono da paesi
al di fuori dalla Germania), e con un incremento del 16% rispetto alla precedente edizione, si tratta di
aziende che vi partecipano per la prima volta. Le presenze più significative provengono dall'Italia,Olanda,
Francia, Svizzera, Gran Bretagna e dagli USA. Anche questa edizione di ICE Europe 2011, come le
altre manifestazioni del settore, è vista come un termometro dai professionisti del converting, che chiedono
a gran voce di trovare nuove soluzioni che si concentrino sull'efficienza energetica, sulla riduzione
delle materie prime, sulla produzione sostenibile e sulla lavorazione di materiali biodegradabili. Attualmente
i processi di lavorazione sono molto influenzati dalla scarsità delle materie prime e dai crescenti
costi energetici; gli operatori del converting sono ansiosi di scoprire le soluzioni migliori presenti in fiera,
che consentino loro di far fronte alle problematiche di questo periodo di crisi mondiale. Il profilo, delineatosi
dalle aziende espositrici di ICE Europe 2011, lascia intravedere una chiara focalizzazione su materiali
flessibili e di trasformazione come la carta, i film, i laminati, i materiali non tessuti. Le aziende espositrici
presenteranno le loro ultime creature: macchine e attrezzature per l'essiccazione, il taglio la finitura
e la stampa flessografica. I visitatori potranno ammirare un'ampia gamma di nuove e migliorate tecnologie
e soluzioni per la lavorazione trasformazione di materiali flessibili.
Non ci resta che augurare a tutti gli espositori, i professionisti i visitatori e non ultimi gli organizzatori un
buon lavoro e una buona riuscita.
