To mark the ceremony for the<br />
dedication of the Amphitheatre<br />
H<strong>al</strong>l to the memory of<br />
<strong>Andrzej</strong> <strong>Tomaszewski</strong>, two<br />
Carrara marble busts depicting<br />
Leonardo Da Vinci - “The<br />
Visionary Creator” - and<br />
G<strong>al</strong>ileo G<strong>al</strong>ilei - “Observer of<br />
the Heavens” -, carved by the<br />
sculptor Dino De Ranieri in<br />
Pietrasanta, have been set up<br />
at the entrance to the <strong>Auditorium</strong><br />
<strong>al</strong> <strong>Duomo</strong>.<br />
Born in Pietrasanta on 28 January<br />
1974, Dino De’ Ranieri<br />
was graduated from the loc<strong>al</strong> Stagio Stagi Art Institute. He now works with his father, Sirio, in<br />
the De’ Ranieri Art Studio in Pietrasanta. And he feels a speci<strong>al</strong> affinity with the “charged portrait”<br />
style (see www.lifebeyondtourism.org).<br />
