Note from the management of the Auditorium al Duomo
To mark the ceremony for the
dedication of the Amphitheatre
Hall to the memory of
Andrzej Tomaszewski, two
Carrara marble busts depicting
Leonardo Da Vinci - “The
Visionary Creator” - and
Galileo Galilei - “Observer of
the Heavens” -, carved by the
sculptor Dino De Ranieri in
Pietrasanta, have been set up
at the entrance to the Auditorium
al Duomo.
Born in Pietrasanta on 28 January
1974, Dino De’ Ranieri
was graduated from the local Stagio Stagi Art Institute. He now works with his father, Sirio, in
the De’ Ranieri Art Studio in Pietrasanta. And he feels a special affinity with the “charged portrait”
style (see www.lifebeyondtourism.org).
