/ The increase of the total number of deaths from 2009 was caused by improving the completeness of death registration,
based on changes in the regulation documents (Law on Civil Acts registration, March 21, 2008 and the Order of the Minister
of Labor, Health and Social Affairs No 16/n of June 28, 2010 “Acknowledgement of guidelines on completion and issue of
certificates on Birth – Medical Birth Certificate; and on death – Medical Death Certificate” – amending the Order No 54/n of March
10, 2003).

reasons (97.5%). This can be explained by the expanding of the categories of subjects, issuing medical death certificates
(based on the Order of the Minister of Labor, Health and Social Affairs No 16/n of June 28, 2010).
