L’inizio dell’attività industriale nel settore dei
laterizi della famiglia Tognana risale al 1775.
L’attuale azienda ceramica fu inaugurata
nel 1946, passando in breve dalle
maioliche alla porcellana, realizzata con
sistemi tradizionali di cottura, sinterizzazione
e vetrificazione.
Tognana Porcellane è oggi il maggiore
produttore italiano di porcellana da
tavola per uso domestico e alberghiero,
distribuendo ogni anno 25 milioni di pezzi
in tutto il mondo. Un’Azienda dinamica, al
passo con i tempi, che ha investito notevoli
risorse non solo nell’area produttiva ma
anche in infrastrutture e logistica, per
migliorare oltre alla qualità del prodotto il
servizio alla propria clientela.
The Tognana family started an industrial
brick factory more than two centuries ago
in 1775. The present tableware company
was established in 1946 and soon passed
from making majolica to porcelain using
traditional systems of firing, spinning and
glazing.
Today Tognana is the largest Italian group
for the production of porcelain tableware
both for household and institutional use.
A dynamic Company which is behind
the times and which has invested huge
resources not only in the production but
also in logistics and facilities in order to
improve the product quality as well as the
service to its own clients.
