Il Percorso
Tappa di 189 km con minime difficoltà lungo il percorso ad eccezione del GPM di Perugia posto a circa
25 km dal traguardo. La salita a Perugia (GPM nel salotto cittadino di Corso Vannucci) è l’unica difficoltà
della giornata, con pendenze a doppia cifra su lunghi tratti e talvolta su fondo lastricato, come la linea di
aggiudicazione. i TS sono posti a Castiglion Fiorentino e a Pretola. Dopo il GPM una breve discesa tecnica
seguita da lunghi falsopiani che portano al traguardo accanto allo Stadio Curi con vialoni larghi e rettilinei
intervallati da ampie rotatorie.
Route
The stage is 189 km long and presents only slight difficulties along the route, exception being made for the
Perugina GPM situated at circa 25 km from the finish line. The climb to Perugia (GPM in the downtown elegant
Corso Vannucci) is the unique tricky moment of the day, with a two figures slope along extended road segments
and sometimes also stone paved road bed such as the finishing line. The Bonus Sprints are situated at Castiglion
Fiorentino and at Pretola. Following the GPM, a short descent and a long succession of apparently flat ground
brings the racers to the finish line close to the Stadium, along wide and straight avenues interrupted only by broad
roundabouts.
