Vecchiefortificazioni, ruderi di abitazioni particolari o forse fabbricatidestinati all’agricoltura? Vera ammirazione oggi, così comecinquant’anni fa, od ancor di più, quando Limone e l’alto lagoerano certamente meno frequentati.L’attenzione aumenta quando all’indomani dal suo arrivo, in unafresca mattinata soleggiata e con il vento che fastidioso scompigliai capelli, può vedere più da vicino e toccare con mano un ambienteunico. Dopo aver superato anfratti e risalito anguste scale,si ritrova al cospetto di piante cariche d’agrumi, con le muraglieche d’incanto tolgono le folate: il nostro visitatore s’accorge chefra quei muri i raggi del sole diventano più vigorosi.Questo accade anche alla limonaia del Castèl dove, dopo i lavoridi restauro, l’apertura giornaliera è diventata una bella realtà. Abreve verrà opportunamente illuminata, per favorire visite seraliche si preannunciano molto significative.Ed in virtù dell’interesse che cresce di giorno in giorno, è statorafforzato l’impegno dell’Amministrazione comunale ottenendo,a livello gardesano, l’inserimento della struttura nella ReteMuseale Alto Garda e proponendo, a livello locale, una sortadi percorso che, oltre alla stessa del Castèl (ove è stata ancheridipinta la “Madonna dei Limoni”), abbraccia altre limonaie,come quella del Tesöl o quella del Parco Villa Boghi. Quest’ultimaè stata realizzata di recente su un paio di terrazze già in passatoadibite ad agrumeto; qui si possono ammirare bellissime foto edapprendere notizie sull’agrumicoltura, con interessanti pannelliThe visitor arriving for the very first time on the Brescian shoreof Lake Garda is immediately struck by the many similar constructionsof various dimensions facing the lake and by theirmysterious purpose. After negotiating winding recessesand climbing narrow steps, he finds himself standing before citrustrees laden with fruit, with towering columns acting as sentinelsand walls that magically block the gusts of wind. Our visitor alsorealizes that the sun’s rays feel hotter within these walls.This also happens at the recently restored Castèl lemon house,which is open daily for visits and will soon be illuminated at night,making spectacular evening visits possible.Due to this growing interest, the town Administration has created a“museum” itinerary with not only the Castèl lemon house (wherethe “Madonna of the Lemons” was repainted), but also the Tesöland Villa Boghi Park lemon houses.The last one was recently built on several terraces that were usedas citrus groves in the past.
