Vivo in un luogo caratterizzato, dalle tinte forti, dai modi nuovi
per un nuovo lusso, ipermoderno. Ho scelto il viola laccato per
i mobili contenitori perché è iridescente, irriverente e seduttivo,
soprattutto quando contrapposto al più rigoroso wengé della
libreria e dei mobili bassi, ripreso più in là nei toni scuri della
zona pranzo. Il risultato: femminile.
Un living esteso, dove materiali, colori, consistenze si
alternano, calibrando lo spazio per un effetto finale disinvolto.
Lo spazio ha una funzione esatta, ospitarmi, per trascorrere
‘dentro’ momenti di piacere, io, affacciata sulla città, come la
città sul mare.
I live in a place of strong colours, of new ways of living with a
new luxury, hypermodern. I chose violet for the shelving systems
because it is iridescent, irreverent and seductive, above all
when it is contrasted with the more rigorous quality of wengé
in the book case and the low furniture, repeated further in the
dark tones of the dining area. The result: femininity.
An extended living area where materials, colours and textures
alternate, creating a space whose final effect is casual.
The space has a precise function, take me in so that ‘inside’
I can experience pleasure: me, looking out at the city, like a city
looking out on the sea.
