Prendete il nome, Solar Orchestra, e ragionateci su. Non c’è nome più adatto
per illustrare con due parole soltanto la musica della band. Non è rock, non è
avanguardia, non è pop, non è ambient, non è psichedelia, non è elettronica, ma
è tutto questo insieme. Un po’ come il sole, che contiene, nel suo fuoco tutti gli
elementi fondamentali perché sulla nostra terra ci sia la vita. Il tutto mescolato
con forti sentimenti, con passioni inafferrabili e al tempo stesso solidissime, che
trasforma il suono di una band in quello di una fantastica orchestra, in grado di
muoversi con sicurezza su percorsi sonori di grande bellezza. Si, bellezza. Perché
è la ricerca della bellezza l’obiettivo finale della Solar Orchestra. Che non cerca di
farvi cantare, non vuole accompagnarvi da nessuna parte, non pretende di avere
in mano alcuna certezza o alcuna verità. Ma cerca costantemente, con impegno,
dedizione, creatività, la bellezza sonora. Ed è questo il segreto racchiuso in
questo nuovo lavoro del gruppo. Che è fatto di musica che non può, non vuole,
non deve essere consumata.

could better describe, in two simple words, the musical essence of this band. It’s
not rock or avant-garde, not pop or ambient, not psychedelic or electronic, but all
of these put together. In a way like the sun, which contains within its core all the
basic elements that are necessary for life on our earth. These elements combine
with a wealth of emotions, with illusive yet vivid passions to transform the sound

is the ultimate goal of the Solar Orchestra, which is not trying to make you sing
along, doesn’t want to transport you to any particular destination, does not claim
to possess any great certainties or unshakeable truths, but which is constantly
searching with commitment, dedication and creativity for the perfect sound. This
is the secret contained within this new release from the band: a sound which
can, which will, which must remain faithful to that goal.
