Assorbente speciale non tossico, non<br />
combustibile, ecocompatibile, prodotto<br />
composto da perlite, una roccia di origine<br />
vulcanica di colore variabile tra il bianco e il<br />
rosa. La principale caratteristica di questo<br />
minerale assorbente è quella di galleggiare e<br />
di avere un grande potere assorbente verso<br />
oli e derivati. Il particolare trattamento termico<br />
a cui viene sottoposto genera un’espansione<br />
del granulo che gli conferisce leggerezza,<br />
capillarità interna e quindi di galleggiare<br />
anche in acque turbolenti. Dotato di potere<br />
termo isolante questo tipo di assorbente è<br />
composto da finissimi, granuli vulcanici, non<br />
contiene polveri di silice cristallina e non<br />
comporta rischi per i lavoratori.<br />

a vulcanic rock with a colour between white and lightpink. The main characteristic of this<br />
absorbent is to be hydrophobic (water-repellent) and oleophilic (oil-attracting). The particular<br />
thermic treatment applied to this vulcanic rock assures a lightweight, a great granules expansion<br />
and high internal capillarity with the capacity to float even on turbulent waters. Composed by<br />
micro volcanic granules not contain crystalline silica not represent a risk for workers.<br />
