Valvole di sicurezza
Sin dall’inizio degli anni Quaranta Farris Engineering, parte del
gruppo Curtiss-Wright, rappresentata in esclusiva in Italia da Lira,
progetta e produce valvole di sicurezza convenzionali e pilotate.
Con decenni di esperienza alle spalle, l’azienda è stata in grado
di offrire una protezione automatica e positiva dalle situazioni di
sovrappressione in migliaia di impianti e strutture industriali.
Farris infatti offre prodotti e soluzioni che sono al servizio
di svariati settori: lavorazione degli idrocarburi, raffineria,
industria petrolchimica, generazione di energia a combustibili
fossili e nucleare, produzione e trasmissione di gas naturale,
industria farmaceutica e trattamento in generale.
Tutti gli impianti di produzione sono certificati ISO 9000. I prodotti
sono realizzati in base al design ASME con certificazione di
capacità ASME/NB Sezione I, III e VIII. Le valvole inoltre soddisfano
gli standard API e hanno ottenuto le certificazioni PED/CE,ATEX,
CSQL, CSA B51, GOST-R/ RTN, nonché molte altre approvazioni
specifiche di paesi, settori e clienti diversi.
Safety valves
Ever since the beginning of the 40’s, Farris
Engineering, a company within the Curtiss-
Wright group, exclusively represented in Italy
by Lira, has designed and produced conventional and pilot
operated safety valves.
With decades of experience, the company has been able to offer
an automatic and positive protection against excess pressure
situations in thousands of industrial structures and plants.
Farris offers products and solutions which service may
sectors: hydrocarbon processing, refining, petrochemical
industry, nuclear and fossil fuel-powered energy generation,
natural gas production
and transmission,
pharmaceutical industry
and processing in
general.
All production
plants are ISO 9000
certified. Products are
manufactured following
ASME design with
ASME/NB Section I,
III and VIII capacity
certification. The valves
also comply with API
standards and obtained
PED/CE, ATEX, CSQL,
CSA B51, GOST-R/ RTN
certifications as well
as many other specific
approvals in various
countries and sectors
and by various clients.
Nuova fusione: tre brand
in un unico gruppo
Valcom ® , specialista nella
strumentazione per la misura e il
controllo dei processi industriali
e per l’industria navale, ha
annunciato la fusione con Spriano ®
Technologies e la modifica
della propria denominazione in
Terranova ® . La nuova costituita
raggruppa tre brand storici italiani
nella strumentazione di processo:
Spriano ® fondata nel 1923,Valcom ®
nel 1974 e Mec-Rela ® nel 1976.
Enio Valletti assume l’incarico di Presidente del gruppo, mentre Sergio
Valletti è il nuovo General Manager.Valletti riconferma la missione
aziendale e afferma: “Terranova ® continuerà nella missione che
ciascun marchio ha perseguito per oltre quarant’anni: presentare
una vasta gamma di esperienze e soluzioni per tutte le industrie
di processo con la qualità, la creatività e l’eccellenza che la nostra
produzione ha sempre dimostrato negli anni”.
I principali mercati in cui opera Terranova ® sono: Oil & Gas (upmid-downstream);
perforazione/produzione; industria navale,
marina militare e offshore; industrie alimentare e delle bevande, del
trattamento acque e acque reflue; industria chimica, petrolchimica e
farmaceutica; industria della carta.
La sede amministrativa e commerciale rimane a Terranova dei
Passerini, in provincia di Lodi.
New merger: three brands in a single group
Valcom ® , specialized in measurement and control instruments
for industrial processes and for the naval industry, announced
its merger with Spriano ® Technologies and the change of its
name to Terranova ® . The newly incorporated company groups
together three historical Italian process instrument brands:
Spriano ® , founded in 1923, Valcom ® , in 1974, and Mec-Rela ® ,
in 1976.
Enio Valletti will take on the position of President of the Group,
while Sergio Valletti will be the new General Manager. Valletti
reconfirmed the company’s mission by stating: “Terranova ® will
carry on with the mission which each brand has pursued for
over forty years: presenting a vast array of experiences and
solutions for all process industries, while maintaining the
quality, creativity and excellence which our production has
always shown during these years”.
The main markets where Terranova ® will operate are: Oil &
Gas (up-mid-downstream); drilling/production; naval industry,
military marine and offshore industry; food and beverage, water
processing and waste water industries; chemical, petrochemical
and pharmaceutical industry; paper mills.
The administration and sales headquarters will remain in
Terranova dei Passerini, near Lodi.
